Created in the spirit of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., A Place at the Table is a dinner group where we talk about how to better love one other and understand one another’s stories more deeply. Each month we share a meal, get to know each other better, and consider a prepared theme.
This month we will hear a presentation on “Good Things to Do When Bad Things are Happening: Staying on Course in Turbulent Times” by Dr. Jim Guy, the President and Cofounder of the Headington Institute, which provides psychological services to international humanitarian aid workers and domestic emergency responders. He is a happily married father of four children ranging in age from 13 to 34.
Contact the church office if you are interested in attending.
