Those of you who were present on the Sunday when our church Historian, Ray Girvigian, presented a brief architectural history of our church have had your appetite whetted for more comprehensive detail.
You will enjoy tours of the building and the stained glass windows. David Judson of Judson Studios will be with us to talk about the windows. English Tea will be served (sandwiches, scones and cakes - with a selection of teas and soft drinks) and a "take-away" brochure. If you’d like to learn more about the church organ, plan to stay after church and meet with our organist, Robert Woolsey. Also we will make sure that you see "first hand" why some of the items included on the list for the Capital Campaign are so necessary.
The event is free of charge (for individuals, groups and families), but we request donations and/or pledges - and ALL contributions will go to the church's Capital Campaign. Please invite your family, friends and neighbors - and share this information with others in your network who may not yet have experienced the beauty of St. James'.
To make a reservation, please call (626) 799-9194. Note that reservations are timed (available on the half hour and hour, starting from 12:30 pm with the last reservation at 4:30 pm) and that tea will be served from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
