Bishop Johnson, retired Bishop of Western Tennessee, is a close friend of St. James’. He and his wife Jeannie joined Bishop Bruno and our parish on pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 2008. He is an insightful preacher with a captivating sense of humor. Raised Southern Baptist, Bishop Johnson made his way to the Episcopal Church. Prior to studying at Vanderbilt University, he served in the United States Navy. He holds a Doctorate of Divinity degree from The University of the South and Seabury-Western Theological Seminary, and a Master of Divinity degree from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary.
We are BLESSED by his coming to St. James’!
