Event Details

L.A.'s community baroque orchestra opens its 7th Season with Italian Style on Sunday, November 20, directed by Lindsey Strand-Polyak with LAB's Artistic Associates and "Big Band". We very much hope you can join us for this free, fun, one-hour afternoon concert as LAB finally makes its return indoors to the wonderful acoustics of St James' sanctuary.

Grab your designer handbags, shades and loafers, because this fall, the LAB Big Band is raiding the house of Gucci and going Italian Style. We’ll be exploring composers who wished they were Italian in their musical expressions—and one composer who desperately tried to convince everyone he wasn’t... Join us for an afternoon in the sun. Andiamo!
