Over the years, the leadership and members of St. James’ have been good stewards of the mission, facilities, and finances of this parish. Together, we have worked to make St. James’ a warm, inviting, and safe place to worship, learn, and work. We’ve saved money with energy efficient systems and repairs that have extended the life of many aspects of our facilities. Now is the time to replace and repair a significant number of the systems that we rely on.
It’s been over 50 years since the church has conducted a parish-wide campaign for our beautiful buildings. There is much work to be done, and the needs are critical and real. The time is now. Each of us must support St. James' with a gift of a lifetime.
The Vestry and Buildings and Grounds Committee, working with outside experts, have put together exciting plans to modernize, upgrade, and repair our facilities. These upgrades will improve our welcoming, expand our outreach to the community, and ensure the safety of our systems and facilities. There are many necessary and exciting projects.
Listen below as Capital Campaign Committee members John Cate and Allison Rector explain the needs our church faces and what we must do to help.
