Sunday, February 8, 2026, following 10:15 service

St. James' is looking ahead to the 118th Annual Parish Meeting after the 10:15 am service, Sunday, February 8. Think of it as a parish town hall gathering where, after celebrating Holy Communion and fellowship, we’ll conduct the business of the church. (Yes, this is Super Bowl Sunday, but the meeting will be long-finished before kickoff.) We will be electing new Vestry members, approving a budget, and talking about the transition plans.

The elected positions are very important. They oversee the day-to-day concerns of the parish, from parishioners’ well-being to the health of our various ministries to the upkeep of the physical plant. The church relies upon their service and they bring experience and insight from varied backgrounds.

I want to offer gratitude to both the out-going folks and those who are in-coming. Your service to Christ and the church is appreciated. Guided by the Holy Spirit, your gifts and talents help build the church in which we worship…and for generations to come!
