Sunday, October 5, 10:15 am • Garfield Park

Sunday, Oct. 5, at the 10:15 am service, we will celebrate St. Francis and our own connection to nature at the annual “Mass on the Grass” at Garfield Park (the 8 am service will be at the church). There will be a “Blessing of Pets,” so bring your pet and a barbecue potluck afterwards. If you are able to bring a dish, please contact the office (office@sjcsp.org). In addition, we could use a few hands to help set things up at Garfield Park between the services.

We’ll be blessing and distributing St. Francis medallions that may be attached to a pet collar. If you are not able to attend, but would like a medallion for your pet, let me know (fathergreg@sjcsp.org) and I’ll reserve one for you.
